Need help with Facebook Page for an Organization

I was asked recently to create a Facebook page for my church. This was pretty easy and now I have photos, directions, etc. up.

The problem I have is that I'm creating FB Events for stuff such as guest lecturers and concerts and it seems that I can only invite people on my personal FB friends list. I'd like to be able to also invite people who "Like" the Church's FB page who aren't on my friend list. Is there a way to do this?
