Hellcats -- "The Prisoner's Song" -- 10/06/10

Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Savannah betrays Alice when she talks the team into letting Dan direct their bid video, which goes against Alice's wishes, but it could end up with her losing her role as captain; Marti looks into Julian's case; and Red and Derrick quarrel when Red makes it clear that he intends to pursue Vanessa.

Total guilty pleasure so far.

Re: Hellcats -- "The Prisoner's Song" -- 10/06/10

Finally caught this tonight.

Absolutely loved the cheer segments and the making of the submition video. I also loved Alice and Savannah's little cat fight. The show is at it's strongest focusing on Marti, Savannah and the Hellcats doing their routines and their interactions with each other. Alice is a very solid nemesis to Marti and Savannah. Whoever is the cheer chereographer does a hell of a job working with the actors.

The subplots are weak though. to the "Love Triangle" with Red, Vanessa and Wayne Palmer (I know the character is named Derek, but DB Woodside will always be Wayne Palmer to me)

Also, it's way too early to have Marti play lawyer and also to go behind her professor's back. The song she sang with that prisoner was cool though. I like the tone of Aly Michalka's voice.

I guess Marti sleeps in her little blue cheer undies.

BTW, did I already say previously that Marti, Alice and Savannah have absolutely amazing bodies.

Indeed. Marti's body is just ridiculous.

Pretty much why I'm still watching.
