CSI: Miami -- The 9th season thread -- Premieres 10/03/10
Synopsis for "Fallen"
Spoiler:
Yes! The show that most of you in this forum love to hate and ridicule is back with a vengeance!
Anyways,
Returning fulltime this season is Adam Rodriguez (Delko)
Emily Procter (Calleigh) is pregnant and it will not be written into the show.
Will be killed off this episode: (Don't read if you don't want to be spoiled) If you don't watch the show or haven't followed it in years, your not going to know who the hell he is anyways. So, why the hell would you read a CSI Miami thread anyways unless your insanely bored?

Hope the pregnancy goes well, Emily Procter actually turns 42 this Friday!
As expected, a delay - from football, I guess - but not bad, started at about 10:07 Pm for me. Delays will hurt the ratings, guess this will be the last season. I hated it when they moved the Unit to that time slot.
As for this episode, I think that guy was pretty expendable; surprised they didn't kill him off sooner. Sucks for the actor, but Rodriguez was a favorite. They still drive hummers. OK episode.

Classic CSI Miami at it's finest!! Some really cheesy moments and awful dialogue and I loved all of it.
H to suspect: "I don't like it when people lie to me because it really hurts my feelings."
I wish they would have added a "Previously on.." intro to the episode. I vaguely remembered the episode from May, but I would have liked something to refresh my memory to start the episode off.
Absolutely hilarious how they made that Professor some kind of nut job serial killer and they needed a straight jacket for him.
It looks like Mr. Jonathan Togo lost sound weight in the offseason. His face was looking slender.
Sucks that Cardoza had to go out by choking to death and hitting his head. At least Speedle went out in a blaze of glory during a shootout. Probably the easiest paycheck Eddie Cibrian has ever earned.
Another hilarious scene was when H walked into the lab and everyone was passed out and he was holding his gun with those fucking sun glasses dangling from his hands. Couldn't he have put them in his damn pocket?
BTW, it was good to see Delko back on the show. Interesting that they gave Adam Rodriguez the "And" credit.
And what a way to end the episode, H shoots a basketball and says..."This is for you Jesse"

Eddie Cibrian was brought in to replace Adam Rodriguez (Delko) after he decided to leave the show over a contract dispute. But as your probably saw Rodriguez stayed on as a guest star last season because he didn't want to close the door on doing the show. Once they re-signed Rodriguez to work fulltime this season, they didn't need Cibrian anymore.

prop department uberfail
when they first find jason and uncover the head it was obviously from a manaquin or statue or something
they couldn't use a little latex and make it look semi-real?

This thread gets little love. However tonight's schedule shows a new episode at 8:00 PM Eastern and a repeat at 10:00 PM. The football game is likely to run over on the East Coast, so time will need to be padded as usual on CBS, for any Sunday night program.

^^ CBS is doing a 3 week experiment putting Miami on at 8pm. It will probably get a little ratings boost because of football overrun, unlike 10pm where it would get pre-empted.

well, I missed it because I didn't know it was on at 8 and the listing for 10pm showed a rerun
networks need to stop fucking with schedules in the middle of a season
oh well, I have other methods of seeing it

The alligator was having problems "lurking" in the pool. It was ridiculous.

Did you not set this as a season pass on your DVR? It should have caught the time change.

I do all my recording on a pc, not a true dvr, and I don't have season passes set up.

I had to think about that a few. I was confused and thought to myself I could do that in a car. I didn't get it. wierd.
that ending was great! almost like when horatio got shot in an earlier season finale and we were supposed to think Wolf had something to do with it.

Only this time he's really, truly down, but with blood running down his arm it was a little confusing as to where he was shot. The gut maybe?
Boa Vista....all I can say is if anyone looks up the term "FUBAR" I wouldn't be surprised to see her picture.
This show has undergone such radical transformations over the past several seasons, it's pretty amazing in an of itself.
