I found this surprisingly enjoyable. Tom Cruise's strange public persona actually helped I thought.

I will consider picking it up when released.

I enjoyed this enough that I'd buy it for $15 or less.

Regardless, While I can't say I will buy this film, but I did enjoy it and thought people were way to harsh on it. It was a fun stupid pop corn movie...

Europe are getting an Extended Cut, but Fox hasn't announced one for the US edition.

Whats up with that?

Complaints about the artwork were just a charade. The studio did extensive audience polling prior to the release and knew damn well that the negative results they got were almost all in regard to Tom Cruise. But they didn't want to admit that publicly, of course.

Funny I thought he was the best part but I'm not a real Cameron Diaz fan. Not that she's bad but I just don't find her attractive, her acting is mediocre and I wonder why everyone swoons over her.

Re: Knight and Day - 11/30/10

The first artwork may just be temporary. The combo pack has been added. There's also a "holiday combo pack" that apparently is the same set, minus the digital copy.

Says it right here: http://www.amazon.de/Knight-Day-Exte...5950597&sr=8-2 They even have the runtime, 117 minutes.

If we arent getting it, im starting to worry about if we will get the A-Team Extended Edition, which is 15 minutes longer. The UK is already confirmed to be getting that.

I didn't care for it enough to invest more than $20 into it. I'll wait for the most basic release to drop in price.

Re: Knight and Day - 11/30/10

That Holiday pack is strange. The only thing it lacks appears to be the digital copy and the prices between it and the 3-disc combo pack are several dollars. Doesn't make alot of sense. I wonder if the holiday pack is in a dvd case?

I am hopeing its not in a dvd case, but that was a thought i had when i noticed how they have package shown on the page. But the more i think about it the more i think its probably not in a dvd style case.

I mean it could be but its probably not a dvd style case. I think its just something fox decided to do for the holidays to boost sales for the title and once christmas has passed it will be discontinued with only the non holiday combo pack being in print.

Re: Knight and Day - 11/30/10

BN.com's description says "mixed media set" for the holiday pack. I'm starting to think that bundle is some sort of slipbox with the dvd and BD packaged separately inside. And Fox is charging $5 more for the convenience of the combo pack containing the DVD and DC as an all in one package.

Other than that, I have no idea. BN even shows the side by side version of the holiday pack as a separate listing. So maybe one holiday pack is each case back to back, and one version side by side. Looks like alot of trouble for a movie that only did $258 million worldwide.

Re: Knight and Day - 11/30/10

Someone on blu-ray.com has confirmed that the holiday pack contains separate BD and DVD versions in their own cases. So basically if you want the digital copy, you'll be paying at least $4 just for that.

I'll take the holiday set.

I know I'm in the minority and the extra disc is a forced purchase and money for the studio, but I wish I could buy the rental movie only discs. Even if they are only a few bucks less, I don't care for or watch many extras so I'd rather save the cash.
