Castle -- Season Premiere -- "A Deadly Affair" -- 09/20/10

Synopsis:

Spoiler:
In the third-season premiere, Beckett finds Castle at a murder scene holding a gun and is forced to arrest him despite his claims of innocence.

22 episode season for Mr. Rick Castle and company. It's competing against Hawaii Five-O and Chase in the same timeslot. It's pretty much a lock for 2nd place.

Recording Hawaii Five-0 and will watch this live. Hopefully Chase will be available (for free) On Demand to try out later.

Katic seems to let her hair grow longer with each season. I like it, but seems like they're trying to make Beckett more feminine/ladylike each year.

Fun Castle following the show's usual formula ... major revelations at the 40 minute mark that make the case quick to solve. However ... the cast is likable enough their interplay is what keeps me coming back ... kind of like House.

I don't like Stana's longer hair this season, it frames her face a bit differently.

For what it's worth, this episode is now available for free download through iTunes.

They also have the pilots of The Event, Outlaw, and Lone Star.

Yeah, I dunno, she looked really bad compared to how she normally looks. I enjoyed the episode, but mostly due to Fillion.

I watch this show on and off. I caught the premiere and I thought it was decent.

All the loose shirts and blocking her belly, my wife kept swearing that Stana was preggers.

Re: Castle -- Season Premiere -- "A Deadly Affair" -- 09/20/10

I was wondering something along those lines as well. That loose shirt from the beginning looked absolutely atrocious. Why am I doing fashion commenting now?

However the cast interplay was there. Solid episode.

Has it ever been confirmed that the blue crime scene gloves were a nod to Firefly?

They are probably just Nitrile gloves that are used by most hospitals now, and the majority are blue.

Katic was looking really skinny...like model skinny.

I liked the long hair though.

I noticed that too, especially in that interrogation scene with the boyfirend - her face was a wrinkled mess. Method acting, perhaps?

Finally saw the ep and I think aside from the stupid outfits, she looked mighty fine in it. In the OP pic though, she looks fugly On that note, Fillion looked bad too, he looked really old and his eyes seemed further apart, if thats possible.

Great episode by the way.

This might be an HD thing - I'm seeing complexion issues on just about everyone's face anymore.

Whats with female detectives going to work, and hunting criminals in high heels? Is this standard?
