Castlevania: COTM and Legends are canon

I don't get why the guy Koji Igarashi stating these aren't canon, just because he made one great game, SOTN he thinks he has say on what's canon and what's not?! buddy, SOTN is ALL you have! All your other vanias have sucked ass. COTM>HOD/AOS or even in 3D your PS2 games are watery soup compared to the N64 ones even with their crappy controls.

I have absolutely no idea what this post is trying to say.

I like Pachelbel's Canon in D a lot, though. I used it as our wedding processional

You're wrong, and even if you were right nobody would care.

How am i wrong? Unless Konami themselves somehow said it wasn't canon, Iga didn't create the Castlevania series so how is his word supposed to be authority? He's just 1 in many number of people who have made games on the series.

It would be like JJ Abrams coming out and saying some TOS episodes/movies/TNG wasn't canon.

Nobody cares about the ongoing "canon" of the Castlevania series.

In fact I would say the same of most game series.

Who cares?

SOTN, Circle of the Moon and Dawn of Sorrow were a ton of fun, the other post-SOTN games are a mixed bag and barely anybody cares about the actual storyline continuity.

If they're canon in your mind, they're canon.

Canon in Castlevania?

They could have Simon Belmont fight Dracula in every game and I'd be fine with it.

You're wrong because Circle of the Moon is by far the worst handheld Castlevania.

You're wrong to think that Castlevania has anything resembling continuity.

You're wrong to care this much one way or the other.

Re: Castlevania: COTM and Legends are canon

COTM is quite possibly the best or 2nd best handheld Castlevania. And the series does have continuity no matter how jumbled it would get later (namely thanks to Iga's dumb retconning)
