Probably Running Wilde, because Will Arnett is the man.

Happy Endings with Elisha Cuthbert? Where do I sign up?

Running Wilde (FOX)= Starring Will Arnett and Keri Russell. From makers of Arrested Development
I haven't heard anything about this one yet, and already it seems like my best bet to watch.

I liked Melissa McCarthy on Gilmore Girls, but the previews for Mike and Molly aren't looking good to me.

I love Jennifer Finnigan, so I'll check out Better With You. When I did watch Ugly Betty it was mostly because of Becki Newton, so I'll check out Love Bites.

I still can't believe that they're sticking with the title of Shit My Dad Says.

Re: Which new Fall/Midseason Comedy are you most anticipating?

For the Fall, I'm looking most forward to Raising Hope. It looks offbeat and charming, and it could be fun to see Martha Plimpton play a grandmother.

I'll check out Running Wilde based solely upon the cast, as Hurwitz, Arnett, and Cross together in a project gets me interested. I haven't seen many promos for it yet, and the ones that I have seen are not lighting my fire.

For midseason, I'm defintely looking forward to Mr. Sunshine. Again, the cast has me sold on this one.

Re: Which new Fall/Midseason Comedy are you most anticipating?

The one that I'm looking forward to the most is Mr. Sunshine. The trailer was fricking hilarious and sold me right away. I also like James Lesure and it's good to see Andrea Anders get another project so soon after Better Off Ted. So my vote goes there.

In the Fall I will try Running Wilde because I like Arnett and love Keri Russell.

Even though people are bashing Hellcats, I'll watch it to see you eye candy, especially in cheer leading outfits.

Yes, Mr. Sunshine does look pretty good. The Paul Reiser Show might be a watch but I haven't made up my mind yet. Everything else, to me, just looks 'ehhh' so I will be on the lookout for reviews.

I read Running Wilde wasn't very good.

The Raising Hope trailer made me laugh several times. And it's got Garret Dillahunt in a non-psycho role.

I'd say other and go with "The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret" starring David Cross on IFC. Premiers Oct 1.

I voted for Running Wilde because of Arnett/Russell and the AD connection... but then I watched the Mr. Sunshine clip. That looks great. Adding that to my list, too.

Edit: The Paul Reiser show doesn't look bad either.

Mixed Signals. I'd never heard of the show until this thread, but I really liked the promo. It reminds me of FX's The League, which I grew to love last year.

I'll also check out Running Wilde, Mr. Sunshine and The Paul Reiser Show.

Re: Which new Fall/Midseason Comedy are you most anticipating?

If you would have talked to me 3-4 years ago, I would have pretty much expressed zero interest in the comedy genre. However, my sister got me into The Office through her DVD's and I casually got into 30 Rock and have started watching that regularly for the last 2 seasons. With Glee, Modern Family, Parks and Recreations and Community having some solid creative years last season, I think the comedy genre is in a major upswing. This is probably the most number of comedies I've followed in the last 15 years or so.

Just curious about those who have looked at this thread, but don't like/watch any 30 min/1 hour comedies. Do you just not like the genre & have any of them that you tried not been funny to you? or do you prefer a good scripted drama instead?

I've never heard of it until this thread, but I'm definitely interested in it. It's funny you mention it reminding you of The League; I thought the same as soon as it started because of the friends and the way they have a natural report/chemistry. If the preview is any indication of the quality of the season, then I think it will be one of my favourite new comedies; I lost it when Roy from The Office (I don't know his real name) coughed so his friend would know his wife was in the car.

FOX definitely looks to be the front-runner this year as far as new comedies are concerned. I've been looking forward to Raising Hope for a while and that's why I voted for it in the poll. I'll also check out Running Wilde because I love Keri Russel and Will Arnett is a riot.

I don't get IFC, but I'll probably watch Increasingly Poor Decisions Of Todd Margaret online or when it comes to DVD since I like David Cross.

ABC chose to get behind the wrong "Better" show. They cancel Better Off Ted and greenlight Better With You? The show had its moments, but I imagine it will be your standard cliched sitcom material.

Happy Endings looks like it might have potential. It has Eliza Coupe (Denise from Scrubs) so I'll probably check it out because she is very funny and the preview has some entertaining stuff.

They cancel The New Adventures Of Old Christine and replace it with Mike & Molly? Geez CBS...At least Shit My Dad Says looks entertaining. I'll check that one out, but I don't think I'll stick with it...for some reason I think it's heavy reliance on one-liners will wear thin on me over time.

All that being said, I'm most looking forward to the return of Parks & Recreation. By and far my favourite comedy of the 2009-2010 television season and probably my favourite show of the season (or a close second to Justified, it's hard to compare the two).

EDIT: Wow, how did Bob's Burgers get by me. From the people involved with Dr. Katz and Home Movies? I'm there! Don't screw it up FOX!

Re: Which new Fall/Midseason Comedy are you most anticipating?

Better With You and Happy Endings don't look too bad, and Mr. Sunshine had a great trailer.
