When I was young, maybe 9 or 10 years old (I'm 31 now), there was a Halloween Picture book about a boy who was being chased by a giant skeleton (I think). While being chased, the boy eventually ends up in a giant dogs stomach and then jumps out its mouth. From my memory, the skeleton then shots his hand free and grabs the boy in the air.

Does any of this sound familar to anyone? I've been trying to remember the name of the book for a few years now. I've tried to search on the internet but have come up short.
