I had no idea what imdb pro was either.
Just checked and it looks like you can sign up for a free trial. Wouldn't you be able to look up the information yourself that way?

It's a paid version of IMDB where you get to see information on films and shows in pre-production or in the planning stages. My guess is amazon, the owners of IMDB, figured they could get tons of people in Hollywood and New York to shell out money for a useless service.

No, the free version of IMDB has worked wonders for me for the past decade. That little bit of extra content can be found elsewhere for free too I'd imagine.

If you have a credit/debit card, you can get two weeks of IMDB Pro for free and cancel at any time. IMDB is an Amazon company, so that should be an indicator of how easy it is to cancel. Even after you cancel, you are still able to use IMDB Pro until your two free weeks have expired. So just sign up and cancel right away.

Re: Anyone have IMDB Pro?
I find IMDB Pro (and IMDB for that matter) to be fairly useless for learning the latest on film projects. I use it mostly to find contact info for production companies, agents, publicists, etc. For that, it's invaluable.
