It's something how Lenore started off as a villain and now I'm rooting for Ray to run off with her as his only pimp. I used to really like Tania but with each episode of this season, all her bullshit about being downtrodden and all her resentment is making her a pretty awful person.

I kind of agree, but I did like when she finally snapped and whipped up on Horny Patty. Maybe she'll finally start listening to Charlie and become a real pimp.

Agreed. In fact, it is this exact reason why I think I'm giving up on this show. I still have 6 episodes stacked on my TiVo and have no real incentive to watch them... yes, she really bugs me that much.

i kind of hope this gets canceled. it's ok, but nothing about this show stands out. it's something to watch in the summer, but i sort of feel like i'm watching it out of obligation now.

Yeah, me too. I don't even have the excuse of watching it between True Blood and Entourage because I DVR them all. The show isn't entertaining, it just is.

I mildly like the fact that it's filmed somewhat in Detroit since I live in SE Michigan.

I have no idea which direction this show wants to go. Only 1 more episode left for season 2 and I don't think there will be a cliff hanger either since we didn't get one for season 1.

Almost done with two seasons of this, and I see no reason for this show. There's really no plot progression and the characters are all crappy people.

Okay, I've only watched season 1 (through the DVD's) even though I have started these threads (not really paying attention to the plot synopsis') I will rent season 2 when it comes out.

Loved season 1, although I hated Ray's kids and Ray's ex. Kinda liked Lenore and Tanya was alright. I absolutely loved the 4 episode arc when Ray got together with Natalie Zea last season. Is there anyone even close to being as hot as Natalie in season 2? I mean isn't the whole point of this show is that Ray and Tanya are losers and need this gig to survive? Plus, it was nice to see him bang some hot chicks every once in a while.

All the comments I've seen in this week's is how everyone thinks this show sucks rather than talking about the actual episode.

Don't misunderstand me. I love the show. I think it's really well-written and executed. The only thing I'm bitching about is Tanya the character. She's become unlikeable by becoming totally immoral, And that's okay, I don't have to like her, and that doesn't mean I don't like the show. When she gets some comeuppance I'll be cheering.

The problem with Tanya is that she's just so desperate, every pore of her oozes desperation, it's not very flattering or entertaining.

^ It's flat-out annoying. I literally loathe that woman. Not expecting much to occur during the finale in a couple weeks.

what's amazing about this show, is that i can't remember another show that caused me go to from rooting for a character (tanya) to completely loathing her. last season, while i didn't really like her, i liked what they were doing and wanted them to succeed in the business. now i just want to see her gone.

What an uncomfortable, unfunny train wreck for everyone involved. I hope the last episode provides some closure because I'm not sure I'm watching next season in the unlikely event this gets renewed.

I do enjoy the show (as does the GF) so thats fine with me. Hopefully that's good news for Bored to Death.

Ahh, they are going to pair it with Entourages final 6 episodes next year. Now it makes sense.
