DVD Talk review of 'Doctor Who: The Horns of Nimon'

I read John Sinnott's DVD review of Doctor Who: The Horns of Nimon at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=43008 and... I think it's a fair one. Doctor Who isn't and can never be thought of as just one show. It's the new show (with 3 variations on "new"), the old show, the older show, and the older older show ... It's getting close to fifty years now and you cannot judge the stories against each other. During the late 70s there was Star Wars. What was Doctor Who going to do? No budget to compete, it went for the part that worked - humor. And it works.

While Horns isn't a classic "Great" story, it is a good one ... enhanced with the over-the-top goofiness. Enjoy it for what it is!
