I want to trade some movies at Moviestop. How much credit is a single DVD worth?

why not go find out? It's not like you have to give it up if it is a price you don't agree upon. But let me tell you, if it is a common dvd.. you're going to get next to nothing for it.

Why don't I go find out? Because I live about 25 minutes away from movie stop, and I wanted to ask before I went and found out it wasn't worth my time. Also, I asked here because this is a forum for asking questions such as this.

It's that hard to pick up the phone?? You could have had your answer by now. Chances are it will not be worth your time, or the gas $ to do it.

Their website doesn't give you details for all movies, but it will tell you that newer release movies (First 3-4 weeks, probably), will be $12 for DVD, $14 for BR.

Not sure what title(s) you're looking to unload, but I'll echo the comment above that if it is a common DVD, expect about $1 or so. Also, the store locator will give you phone numbers, so it may be worthwhile to give a call and ask what the resale value may be.

I unloaded a bunch of older movies that I didn't want, and frankly I doubt anyone else would want. I probably got between 50 cents and $2.00 each for most of them. There may have been a handful that I got a little bit more for, but not much.

One question, why? You know they'll give you 50 cents to a dollar for a particular DVD then turn around and sell it somewhere between five dollars to twenty dollars.
