What's this book title?
A friend told me about this book that involves the Japanese and their treatment of the Chinese around the WWII era. He said it was as bad as the holocaust but not many people know about it. I remember part of the title, The Rape of....... I haven't been able to find it or search for the full title anywhere yet.

what a terrible, horrible book this is. If you're not familiar and don't want to read any spoilers stop here.
It cronicles what the Japanese did to the Chinese during their 1937 war. Terrible, horrible things. When i first bought this book i had to rip out the pictures from the center and shred them. I'm a bit of a history book collector, I have about 15 now, but after I finish reading this ( i'm about halfway through ) I think i'll have to throw it away.

No, I really didn't know what to expect after being told about this from a friend.
Maybe it's so shocking because I knew nothing about this, and i'm hearing this for the first time. Maybe after this my next book will be a romantic comedy.
