favorite hacker movie
Wargames
sure other movies have hackers in them but this only one where computer hacking is key to the plot that I really like
the following movies I do enjoy but computer hacking is just a sub-plot
Office Space
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Mission Impossible- it was important but it wasn't central to the whole movie
and Live Free or Die Hard was bland

I myself enjoy "Hackers". Silly, somewhat unrealistic, but fun.

There's a lot of Japanese animation where they venture inside computer networks and sometimes fight some evil entity within. "Serial Experiments Lain," "Digimon Adventure: Bokura no War Game" (the middle portion of THE DIGIMON MOVIE), and last year's anime movie, SUMMER WARS, all come to mind. But I'm not sure which, if any, of these examples actually involve "hacking." There are a lot of computer wizards in the series, "Digimon," but I can't recall if they actually do any hacking in it or not.
