After a 14 year absence Larry Hama has picked up the helm again and brought back the comic, continuing the storyline from the 80/90's.

Anybody else pick up a copy?

So far, it's been much better than the Devil's Due run. Can't really speak for the current IDW storyline, as I've not kept up with it.

Re: Gi joe #156

The first issue was better than everything IDW has done so far (except for Cobra)

I wouldnt put it ahead of DDP yet, though sometimes I feel like the only fan of that series.

I will always appreciate the fact they picked up the Marvel story, rather than a hard reboot like IDW.

And Cobra Commander in the WWIII story cant be beat.
