About 3/4 of the way through the episode, I was like "Now THIS is the Rescue Me we've been waiting for!" and then the end of the episode hit. The whole Franco-Janet thing was messed up, Tommy's reaction was valid, but kind of messed up as that had never hit before, and his choice of coping mechanisms, while probably fairly typical, was just the last straw.
Still, best so far this season. (If the rest are like the first 45 minutes, it'll be a better season.)

I wish we would have gotten to see more of the two probies out on a date.
I'm not sure what to make of Peter Gallagher's character yet
Not a big fan of the Franco/Janet story.

Just came to say the same as what was posted above. The first 2/3 was classic Rescue Me and fucking hysterical! The rest, especially the drawn out ending of tommy just sitting in his truck was disappointing.
I'm gonna miss this show when it's gone...and when I say I'm gonna miss this show, I mean I'm gonna miss seeing Janet and Shiela

Loved how Nurse Hilary told all the guys off. When she told Tommy that Owen Wilson wanted his nose back, someone in the room with me actually said out loud "I dont get it." Classic.
