In 2008 she was in rehab after partying too hard and people around her had an intervention. She later said it was for depression not drugs or alcohol. Gossips say shes a big drinker in 2009.

She is what's called, 'Flavor of the month' in Hollywood actors and actresses. Just another pretty face (not to all) that makes it in movies and doesn't have any real talent. That is why actors/actresses like her rarely have any longevity.

Flavor of the month? Say what? She's been getting steady work since she was a kid. Interview with a Vampire and Jumanji came out 15 years ago. She's been in several big budget films since.

Kirsten had a pretty good run of success in the late-90s/early-00s playing sexy teenage girls. Even in the first Spiderman movie, Dunst was playing a teenager.
Unlike (say) Reese Witherspoon, KD never was able to establish herself as a bankable adult actress or one to be taken seriously.

I thought she was very charming in the undersold, underseen How to Lose Friends & Alienate People.

Don't forget, she had Spider-Man 4 on the docket before it fell apart. Also, she had been reported to have some drinking problems the last few years. Maybe she's just working out personal stuff.

Is Reese Witherspoon really that bankable these days, she just struck gold with in "Walk the Line", with what what I considered to be a supporting role, but had little competition that year for the best actress Oscar.

Obtopic - happened to see that episode of Punked recently when Kirsten got got by Ashton and company.. She was kinda cute during that episode.

I think she was bad for MJ. She was too small for MJ. And..well...they never made much of MJ in the films besides damsel in distress. MJ was a much stronger character in the comics.

Have you seen her in anything other than Spiderman? She's a fantastic comedic actress -- just watch Dick and Bring It On if you don't believe me -- and well above average in dramatic roles.

Agree, but she looked hot back then. After the first SPIDER-MAN movie her body started to droop. Her teeth needed whitening, her hair needed shampoo, her lips needed chap stick. Most of all she needed some sun.
