Redbox Branding Fail

I walked by a Redbox the other day and noticed it was actually blue. Ah-ha! I thought... must be blu-rays. Great! Alas, there were no blu-rays, just confusion.

WTF is the deal with these blue Redboxes?

Walmart colors. They have their own.

Don't be fooled by the Red-rays in the typical boxes...

You sure it was a Redbox and not a Blockbuster Express (which are blue)? Also, there are DVDPlay machines which are red, and those are slowly being converted into blue Blockbuster Express kiosks.

Like someone mentioned, Redboxes are blue at the newly remodeled Wal-marts to match the rest of the blue signage. All the vending machines are blue.

Maybe if they rented porn they wouldn't end up with blue boxes.
