Which Region 2,3,4 DVDs have better versions than Region 1?
I recently picked up a region free player and Im curious which movies might have more special features than the Region 1 versions Ive seen. Im not worried about PQ, Ive probably got the blu-ray version for that. Just movies that have exceptional extras that have not made their way to US releases. If it has limited packaging that would be cool also. Thanks!

Flash Gordon R2 puts the R1 to shame. It has a seperate commentary track by Brian Blessed (Voltan) among other extras.

Bound R4 is anamorphic. It has a commentary track but I think the R1 does also.
True Lies R4
I think Freeway R4 is also anamorphic but I'm not so sure. I'm going to pick it up sooner or later.

True Lies, Conan, Serenity,AoD, sound like great starts! Thanks for the info. I'll check out those other two sites as well.

Several John Carpenter films from R2 have terrific commentary tracks not on the R1 release, including STARMAN.
