As the title states, I saw the 300 Collector's Edition Box set at Costco today (Eden Prairie, MN) for $12.99. They had about 8 copies or so. Sorry, I didn't take any pictures. YMMV.

I was just thinking the same thing - there was even a period when these were selling for ridiculously high prices when people thought they were becoming "rare".

I really don't think it was that much.. maybe 30-35.. but this is a hell of a deal.. It is also a very nice package too..


Now If I see the I am Legend Collectors edition for that cheap i'm gonna scream!

Same here I was at Comic Con that year (long story) I was able to be the one with the mask (I think it cost me $80 or $100 I do not remember. I know the day this came out I went to Best Buy and it was the very last one that they had. I crushed. They offer me $10 off if I wanted. It, did not have the heart to tell them I was going to buy it anyway.

This happens all the time. I still say if it was worth $35 then its still worth that now. Given that if I can buy another one I at $6.99 I will buy some, 2/5 of them just for the helmet and cards.
