Warner Home Video has announced a Blu-ray release of Three Kings for the 12th October. Retail will be around $24.98. Extras will include a commentary by Writer/Director David O. Russell, a second commentary by Producers Charles Roven and Edward L. McDonnell, additional scenes, featurettes ("Under the Bunker: On the Set of Three Kings", "An Intimate Look Inside the Acting Process with Ice Cube", "Tour of the Iraqi Village Set with Production Designer Catherine Hardwicke"), David O. Russell’s Three Kings Video Journal, and an interview with Director of Photography Newton Thomas Sigel.

This has always been one of my favorite Clooney movies. I still have the original dvd, might get it when its cheap.

I actually never picked up the DVD despite really enjoying the film. I'll rectify that by getting the BD at some point.

I wonder if they'll keep the disclaimer about how the way it looks is intentional. I guess not, because in the ensuing years, many movies have done similar things, so it's no longer unusual.
BTW, wasn't this supposed to be released in some big special edition years ago? It looks like the same features from the original (and only) DVD. And, I wonder if the production designer will be credited as "Twilight director."

This blows. All those features are 10 years old and there's nothing new even though the director made a follow up feature length Iraq documentary in 2004.
