Flash Gordon and The Stepfather (1987), if they're cheap. Maybe rent The Book of Eli. Too bad Darkman apparently looks like crap.

Won't be getting anything from the new releases this week. Might check out Target's sale on catalog titles though.

Book of Eli is tempting since I love Denzel and Oldman....but not for $25. I'm renting The Stepfather first. It's $19.99 on Amazon right now. I'm sure that title will drop sooner than later.

Nothing new this week, but picked up some gems from Amazon's sales.
Which is where I will eventually pick up Youth In Revolt (hopefully around BF or Christmas.
June and July have been good, but I'm holding off on several blind buys that I would normally purchase just to be able to deal with August, which will break all of my BD spending "records." And the only release coming after August 10 is the Lost complete series, so I'm expecting more to be added.

Those of you who have no clue what Unthinkable is..It's a straight to video action movie with Samuel L. Jackson. Found the trailer. Looks like a decent rental.

2 Blind-Buy's this week which is rare since I pretty much stopped blind-buying . . .
Santuary Season 1 & 2 (felt like watching a new series & $24 a season seemed good)
Supernatural Season 1 - Everyone tells me to watch this, so I figure I will now.
Will eventually get when it drops to around $15 Book of Eli

Sanctuary Seasons 1 and 2 for like $21 each with Walmart giftcards. Likely others when they go on sale, like Mystery Train and The Book of Eli.

Will have the review up in the next day or two. It's a great disc of a flick I tremendously enjoyed -- solid action, strong performances, wonderful Fallout-esque atmosphere and a healthy splash of thought-provocation.

I agree with all this, a very underrated movie that sadly a lot of people instantly dismissed because any mention of the "Bible" in a movie instantly brings ridicule and eyerolling.
