Need HELP remembering an old Macintosh Russian Farming Game
Yeah I know, but bear with me...
About two decades ago I was in college (FUGG I'm getting ancient) and worked at our computer lab. I didn't work particularly hard; I was usually playing this game on an Apple Macintosh. And I'm trying to see if anyone ELSE remembers it as well, or at least remembers the name.
It was set in (I believe) tsarist Russia (late 18th/early 19th) and was turn-based. You ran a farm, grew crops, bought land, got married, raised a family, and died, and your son took over. You made money by selling crops.
As father and son you ran two generations of the farm before (I suppose) by Bolsheviks took over. The object was obviously to make the most cash before the game ended.
If ANYONE remembers this game, let me know. I've been looking for it a long time. It was (IIRC) pretty addictive.

It might have been a free- or share-ware game. It was black-and-white, minimal interface, maybe even a Hypercard app? Probably not. Oh well. If anyone can help, I'll send positive karmic juju your way.

Sorry...I played a lot of those games back in the day, but that one does not ring a bell...sounds interesting though.

Sorry, I looked and couldn't find it. It sounds like something Koei might have done.
Although, I played another game recently where you run a farm, die, and your son takes over. I know you've played it too. Is that what got you thinking about this game by any chance?

Sounds kind of like Santa Paravia which I used to play on a TRS-80 in high school (how's that for dating myself?)
