Synopsis for "One Wrong Move"




Saw this episode several months ago as the 1st 9 episodes of this season already aired in Canada and has already circulated online. All I have to say is if you like this show, you can't miss this episode. Someone in the above photo will:



I will probably watch it again since I can now see it in HD.

Haven't seen anymore episodes, so I'm looking forward to season 3, which will be a 22 episode season.

I just realized that even though there is 22 episodes, there is no way they can complete the entire season before the Fall season starts. 22 straight weeks would lead into early October. I think we will see 13-16 episodes air this summer and the rest will be saved for midseason or if a show on CBS gets the axe.

Wow! After watching this for the 2nd time tonight it was still just as heartbreaking.

Sergio Di Zio and Mark Taylor, who played Spike and Lew, was just amazing in that final sequence. You just felt the emotions and intensity of the situation. Lew made an extremely tough decision, but I think it was the right one. The situation was pretty much hopeless and he didn't want his buddy to be a casualty along with him. Just seeing the reactions from Spike and the rest of the team made me shed a tear.

Apparently Flashpoint was just renewed for a 4th season in Canada. Whether or not season 4 airs in the United States is another story.

The official CBS Flashpoint Facebook page is comedy. There are dozens of complaints from Canadians bitching that this episode was falsely advertised as a new episode since they saw this on CTV last Fall.

What I thought was interesting (and perhaps a bit disappointing) about this season's first episode (shown last week) was that there was no "flashpoint" shown at the beginning of the episode. The hook for this show was to first show the lead-in to the critical moment (the flashpoint), then back up X hours or days and show how everything got to that point, and then resolve the crisis. But this episode was a straight timeline show.

I think that episode had to take a different spin on the crisis of the week due to the outcome of one of the SRU members dying at the end.

I suppose you could have had Lew (the black guy) step on the land mine and then flash back to the start of the day. But, I think that was have lessened the dramatic impact of his death.

The 1st 9 episodes from this season are actually leftovers from season 2. I don't think it really matters what order they are shown in as each episode is self contained.

LOL, well you aren't going to have to worry about that. Episodes 1-2 are in correct order and coincide with one another in terms of continuity. The rest were all produced afterwards.

It was a good, but unspectacular follow up to the 1st episode.

^^ I agree I think they should have brought back Donna. I just don't see this new chick fitting in chemistry-wise with the team.

20 posts for an entire season with 11 posts by the OP.

This show can't be doing well...but I suppose that's no suprise since aside from The CBC, the old Showcase and now HBO Canada Canadian TV delivers nothing people want to watch.

If it wasn't for them airing John Stewart/Colbert OTA CTV wouldn't even exist for me.

I don't know why they don't hire Stewart to do a prime time Friday Canadian version of TDS from NYC with Canadian remotes since that's all they have to offer.

It's actually doing quite well. It's Friday's highest rated drama right now with over 6M viewers. CTV already renewed it for a 4th season even though CBS hasn't commited to it yet. CBS has 22 episodes to air for season 3.

There's a few people here who follow it and that's why I bump this every Friday. As with most procedural dramas, the plots are self contained and there isn't much storyline to talk about episode to episode. Most people in this forum really only like to talk about serial dramas or sitcoms.

Don't judge ratings by the activity of a thread here. There is rarely, if any threads about Two And A Half Men, but it gets huge ratings.

Second, most online fans of this show watched these episodes back in the fall when they aired in Canada. It wasn't that hard to find them.

The funny part is that nobody talked about the new episode that CBS aired a couple weeks ago. The episode with the kid at the motel was the first real Season 3 episode. I'm sure many missed it thinking the new episodes hadn't started yet.

Anyway, there is one more repeat tomorrow, and then the new episodes start next week on CBS and CTV.
