I haven't brought this up till now but thought about it for a bit...but I guess Walt enjoys the bald look now, since he does it by choice right?

When the show started I always thought he had a bad haircut. I think he looks much better with the shaved head... and Walt must be shaving his head now, even though we never see him do it.
Looking forward to tonights episode. It HAS to be MUCH better than last weeks.

Man this show is the best.
I'm totally digging this episode. Wow.
"I'm on like step 5 yo" "Dos here I'm only three behind"
Jesse in that girl's house when the mother/grandmother comes home. This show handles those things in such a realistic, mature fashion. I knew Jesse would change his mind when that little boy came in the picture, a callback to the house with the ATM in it. Now the link-up to Jesse's friend getting shot is a tad convenient, but it works.
Skyler, like all women, smells money... actually gets close to it, and everything changes. That's the way it goes for sure. I love the way they set this money laundering aspect of Skyler up the long way, with the subplot of her auditing the boss and etc.
So well written.

"Never make the same mistake twice".
Wow.
$300 for a 16th in ABQ? Surely someone would have told them that is so far beyond ridiculous. There has to be some reason they did that. You could go two 8's for that kind of money on a good day.
Nice to see Jesse's girl again. I liked the opener explaining the cigarette butt.
That preview for next week was something.

Got this queued up and I'm going to start watching shortly. Can't wait, and I hope it's a return to form after last weeks episode. It was okay, but a bit too abstract and uneventful for me.

Pretty much a perfect episode. No other show can mix drama and comdey so effortlessly. One minute Jesse is calling Walt "Grandpa Anus," then next we see him getting some of his humanity back.
It still cracks me up that Saul's shell company is "Ice Station Zebra Associates".

The scenes with Esposito and Cranston together are great, they can create so much tension with just their expressions.
Love how Badger and Skinny Pete went into the meetings to sell drugs and wind up starting the program

Keep in mind that this is the show where Walt not stopping a girl from choking to death resulted in a plane crashing into his backyard. The show's theme seems to be that everything is connected.

I must say, haven't been much of a Skylar fan this season, but the last two episodes she's been great. Love that she wants to run the laundering operation.
Awesome episode overall. Truly curious to see where this is going with Gus. Walt can't afford to mess up this deal now, with Hank's hospital bills on the line and Skylar's involvement.

This week was definitely a return to form. Such a great episode, from beginning to end. I love that Skinny Pete and Badger end up sobering up, at least for the time being, as a result of trying to sell drugs. I was surprised Jesse was going to get involved with a girl just to sell her drugs, but I guess he went in knowing his angle. I like that he has stayed sober throughout that season though and really hope he doesn't cave. I wish they hadn't shown Combo's death, because it totally took away from the suspense of the scene where the girl told Jesse her "adopted" brother shot someone. I loved when Jesse was walking away after seeing the people responsible for Combo's murder...so much rage, Aaron Paul nailed that scene. I really think he deserves an Emmy this time around.
Saul never fails to crack me up. His compliments to Skyler killed me. And laser tag, lol.
Someone called it a while back that Skyler too was going to be "Breaking Bad" before the end of the season, but I can't remember who. Anyway, good call. I think it was a little obvious last week the direction they were taking her, but whenever this person said it, I don't think it was as clear. I like that she didn't file for divorce. She really does seem to be getting a rush out of all of this...I wonder though how this will affect her relationship with Walt. I wonder if she will become solely a business associate or if she and him will reconcile at some point.
Gus remains one of the most intimidating television characters I've ever seen. He's just so unnerving. He comes off as ordinary and mundane, but is so imposing and threatening. The simple act of inviting Walt over for dinner turns into this epic battle. He's wearing a pullover sweater and cooking dinner, but you can just sense the danger and anger about to spill out. The character is so well-written and menacing. It's so much fun when Gus and Walt share screen time because they are worthy adversaries (Walt obviously still has a lot to learn) and have this wonderful chemistry with one another that manifests itself in some of the show's most tense moments.
Cannot wait for next week. It looks like a lot is going to happen. I can only imagine how incredible the final two episodes are going to be.

I don't think he was talking about Jesse. Gus doesn't seem to know enough about the chemistry to be able to track the yields the way Walt did. And it doesn't sound like Jesse has sold enough of the meth for Gus to have learned that he was selling.
I imagine it was just general advice with no subtext, or he was talking about Skylar. Maybe Saul got word to Gus about her involvement.

Great episode. Loved Saul's involvement, the fact that he actually made sense and Skylar agreed with the notion of having a "Danny."
Skinny Pete and the other guy, good stuff, they're getting clean. Cool new path for Jesse, and also we get to see how Hank has been doing.
