Even though this is probably the best show currently on television, I'll be watching it tomorrow instead... as much as I love it, LOST trumps it easily

In this short interview, Vince Gilligan says he wants an end date for the series. I hope he gets it. This is a show (and a writing staff) that could really benefit from knowing when it will end, and make it work.

i think this show is perfect for 5 years. 2 more and done. i'd be totally happy with that if the quality continues to be as good as it is.

Hah! Hours after the episode has aired and not a single comment about it...
Anyways, another 2-man show only in the lab instead of the RV like last time. I thought Walt was gonna spill that he let her die, but I guess he's not that dumb. Jesse is dumb if he thinks he can keep skimming.

I really didn't like the first half of this episode - mostly show-off camerawork (on the brush, inside the bag, etc.) and some physical schtick.

After watching the Lost finale, the close-up of Walt's eye cracked me up a bit.
Glad they brought up the fact that Walt would be able to calculate the yield.
The episode seemed to be a way to bring Walt and Jesse to some sort of mutual understanding of each other and to maybe have them respect each other. The final scene pretty much blew that up and made the entire episode seem pointless.

I did like how they were able to merge the stunt work of Walt falling from his fly swattage unto the floor without missing a beat on the walk-up zoom to Walt's body on the floor.
And then Jessie's on the top rung of the ladder on top of 2 metal cabinets was nutty.
It did seem like a cost-cutting episode to keep the season's production costs under wraps, though.

Agreed ... there is actual discussion and open dialogue (granted Walt was stoned) and suddenly ... Jesse's his old self again at the end.

I liked it.
Back to those two guys working together and pulling nonsense on each other.
Walt losing it is interesting for sure.

I really need to go back and watch this episode. I watched it after staying up for Lost and didn't feel I gave it my full attention, so that might be why it didn't just click with me. I found the second half better than the first, but think I need to watch it next Sunday before the new episode and maybe that'll change my opinion of it.

I thought this episode was fantastic - I like tense "bottle" episodes like this that come along every once in a while, though. I watched it before I watched the Lost finale, maybe that has something to do with it?

It seemed like the whole point of the episode was to show Walt acting crazy and then give another drugged confession ... without the confession, it seemed pointless.

I thought it was amusing. It was the first episode this season where we really saw these two spending time together. The biggest thing that stood out for me was the fear that Walt had regarding a simple fly. Now that he knows what his boss is capable of, he is more afraid than ever before. He warned Jesse, because this man is not one to deceive as we have been witness to.

I couldn't enjoy it because my wife was complaining the whole time that the episode was too boring. I guess she wasn't alone.
