Good replacement WII sensor bar?

Does anyone know a good replacement WII sensor bar?

My cat chewed thru the cord on mine. I spliced it back together but it still doesn't work.

I bought the MadCatz wireless bar and it sucks big time. You have to be nearly even with the bar for it to detect anything so it really limits movement.

I checked Nintendo's site and they sell refurb sensor bars, but they only accept Visa and Mastercard and I have American Express.

I'd rather buy a new one locally if possible anyway, but can't find the actual Nintendo brand. Only 3rd party ones.

Check Toys R Us. My cat also chewed the cord a few months back and they had an official Nintendo one. It works pretty good. It does take a few batteries though but lasts for a good while. The problem with the sensor bar Nintendo gives you is the cord is so god damn thin. They should've packed in a wireless one instead.

Thanks!

Just got back from Toys r Us and the new sensor bar works great!

You'd think Nintendo would start packaging the wireless one with the WII, or make the wire on the original more sturdy. I told the clerk about my cat chewing thru it and he said that was the main reason people gave him for having to buy a new one. lol.

Back when it came out I recall the Nyko wireless one getting good reviews. IIRC, it had a longer range than the Nintendo one, drawback being it chewing through batteries.

My cats chewed through my wii sensor bar too a few years ago. I think I bought a replacement from Nintendo.

I want to get a second sensor bar and power brick so I can quickly move the Wii from room to room without hassling with cables. My daughter uses it now most of the time for Netflix and its a pain to unhook and move everything back to the living room.
