Re: Supernatural -- Season Finale -- "Swan Song" -- 05/13/10
Supernatural knows how to put on a season finale. Expecting a great episode. The plan is for Sam to let Lucifer possess him and try to control him from the inside. But when does anything go to plan? Im still expecting God or the antichrist to play a role. Oh, yeah, one more thing:
Carry on my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry no more

Super excited for this. A character will die? WTF. There's only like 4 regular characters left in this show. Jesus. I'm guessing Cas.

Promo for the episode:
<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/I07gdKY-9K0&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/I07gdKY-9K0&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
Very creepy vibe to it.

I'd hate for Bobby to die but if it allows him to be permanently reunited with his wife, I'd accept that.

There's nothing quite like a season finale of Supernatural. Can't wait for Kansas to start blaring and have that awesome flashback sequence...

Since Jim Beaver is a recurring guest star and not under contract, it would be easy to kill his character off.

I'm pretty sure the death will be Cas... he's human now right? so, the only way he can become an angel again is to die and go back to heaven...

That threw me for an emotional loop.
That was a fitting end for me. I'd say to hell with season six.

Great episode. Could easily have been a series finale.
They kind of punked out on the beloved character dying bit in the synopsis, since they came back.
I was starting to think the beloved character was going to be the Impala, with all of the Prophets stuff about it.
One question, why did Chuck disappear?

Fantastic episode... would have been a nice series finale... thought that Jared Padalecki actually brought some great acting to the table... I just hope they don't muck it up with this tacked on S6.
