Single Twilight Zone DVD Volumes.

Those volumes that have 3 or 4 episodes on one volume are pretty neat.
I've been able to buy a few lately instead of buying the whole series that
cost around $100-200. How many volumes are there in all?
I'm not going to buy every volume that they have, just the ones that have the
episodes that I like.
It's also pretty neat to see a lot of the actors before they became big stars. ( Jack Klugman, William Shatner, etc.)

Re: Single Twilight Zone DVD Volumes.

I know they have at least 42 of them.

I'll let someone else complain about those discs.

If it doesn't have a gremlin and the glasses guy, then I disagree.

Re: Single Twilight Zone DVD Volumes.

I actually bought every one when I found out that they contained 99% of the episodes and the missing 2 or 3 are available in a supplemental disc (sorry but my wife did the research).

Some of my favorite eps are the ones that no one else likes and that aren't on collections.

Well worth it but some of them are a little tricky to find now.

That was the first one that I bought. Particularly for the Shatner episode
but I also like the episode of the neighborhood that went berserk.

Re: Single Twilight Zone DVD Volumes.

I had bought volume 41 for Will The Real Martian Please Stand Up. I already had "Collection 1" and that was the one episode missing from that set that I really wanted. I've since bought The Complete Definitive Collection.

Those 2 are also on it? If I didn't get the season sets, that easily sounds like the best volume out of the bunch.

Re: Single Twilight Zone DVD Volumes.

I bought all of them when they first came out (there were 43 volumes), I sold them all on Ebay and bought all the season sets. Highly recommend the season sets for the supplementary extras. I see now that the first season is coming to Blu-Ray with even more extras. The picture quality on the single volumes was also kinda bad compared with the season sets.

That episode is really called- " The Monsters are Due on Maple Street '
I had seen it many times on those Sci-fi channel marathons around the new year. I remembered it from that and it is easily one of my favorites.

I have bought two volumes so far, but if the Season Sets are better quality
I may stop getting the volumes and work on getting the Season sets.
