The Office -- "The Cover-Up" -- 05/06/10
Synopsis:
Spoiler:
Episode 24 of 26
I finally got caught up with this earlier this week. Loved the last 2 episodes.
Amy Pietz (Donna) is gorgeous. I know most Office fans like Michael with Holly, but I enjoy them pairing him with a hottie who is way out of his league.
BTW, she will appear in at least 1 more episode.

Great episode tonight, Amy Pietz is gorgeous. Loved everyone ducking and hiding when donna and Micheal looked up at the window. Loved Pam Diving to the ground.

Darrel's face after the printer caught on fire. Hilarious.
Michael being the other man. I didn't see that one coming.

Probably the best episode of the season so far. Michael was just the right amount of crazy. Everyone else was on as well. Who wrote this one?

One of the best of the season. Loved the Dwight P.I. stuff. And Michael always makes me laugh. The temp even had a few lines in this one. Laughed a good 15 times. 5 is about average.

Really? I was kind of thinking all along (even before this episode, for some reason) that Michael was the other man.
Overall, it was good, not great. Creed and Darnell (lol) were the best parts. I don't like Gabe at all, but the faces he makes (like the one he made after giving Andy a $5 gift card) are hilarious.

Funny episode. The last couple have been really good, but overall it can't make up for a lackluster season.
A couple of questions though. If Donna's married, how come A) her Facebook page didn't say this when Pam looked it up and B) what the hell is she doing having an affair with a guy who's followed around by cameras 24/7?

"So there I am, minding my own business, and Darnell offers me three bucks. All I gotta do is walk by Andy and go like this. [makes throat cutting gesture] Darnell's a chump. I would've done it for anything. I've done a lot more for a lot less."

While the documentary aspect is clearly only paid lip service at this point, I would imagine that the documentary crew owns and controls access to all of their own footage. If you want to control the footage you have to film it yourself.

Overall, I thought this episode was okay. Not great by any means, but not as cringeworthy has some of this season has been.

I know many people on here thought Michael landing a hot piece like Donna was unrealistic, but it looks like the writers managed to address it.
I wasn't really surprised by it, Michael's women always have some kind of issue, and Donna was too hot, too interested in sex, and too together to be on the market.

LOL It seems that just about every Office episode with a subplot gets a Web site now. Here's the latest, based on this episode: http://www.schrutepi.com/

I wonder if we've seen the last of the smoking copier(s)? Gabe's attitude smelled like a cover-up to me. The beginning of a new plot thread?
