Movies Were the HairStyle is too Distracting?
Some movies are timeless while others are too much of a product of their generation. Most cringe worthly are the hairstyles of that era. Sometimes they are so bad that it's hard to ignore them and enjoy the movie.
Case in point, Hard Target starring Jean-Claude Van Damm. I remember loving this flick in the 90s for the big over the top action scenes and the whole Cajun country vibe. I watched Hard Target again this weekend. I found myself paying more attention to JVCD's horrendous haircut. A long curly hair mullet. A in your face mullet that even swings around slowly as this is a John Woo film. Back when mullets were considered sexy. lol It kept distracting me from the storyline.
Another mullet misery that is hard to watch is Brian Bosworth in Stone Cold. Just long and nasty. Funny that is another film with Lance Henriksen.
Anyone else have some examples?

Any time anyone has long hair in a WWII combat setting, it throws me off.
Like Sean Penn in THIN RED LINE:
And how about when "ghetto" doctor Elvis administers to the poor...?
Did he spend all his meager earnings on hair spray?

People forget (Or don't know) how many times Boris Karloff's hairstyle seemed to radically change for various movies of the 30's. Personal distracting favorites are The Invisible Ray (Afro!) and The Man With Nine Lives (Big resemblence to Jeremy Irons here!)
