Warner Classics DVD sale at DD
These all may show up at Big Lots one day, but Deepdiscount.com has a pretty good Warner Classics sale going on. I don't know the link is to the sale. But movies like Picture of Dorian Gray, Wagon Master, Goodbye Mr. Chips (Peter O'toole and Robert Donat version), The Hunger, Waterloo Bridge, Falling Down Deluxe edition are priced at either 6.12, 7.12, or 8.12.
There are quite a few titles on sale at these price points. I searched the Warner studio store there and searched these price points.

Is there a link? I searched the DD site but only found a different Warner sale, no prices ending in .12, none of the titles mentioned in the OP.
Here is that other Warner sale:

Here's what looks like a complete list, from DVD Price Search Dot Com. (DVDTalk won't let me post the actual link.) Note that this includes all current sale titles at DD, some of which aren't part of this particular sale:

Many of those are kinda ho-hum prices, but Picture of Dorian Gray is an absolute no-brainer for $7.12.

I picked up a lot of the titles I wanted during Amazon's similar sale last year (and from Big Lots), but this is the best price I've seen on "The Picture of Dorian Gray", "Watership Down", "Waterloo Bridge", and "Wagon Master" - all of which are relatively new releases. I picked those four up, and I might go back and pick up the original "Goodbye Mr. Chips" and "Lust for Life".

I ordered last night when I posted this:
watership down (deluxe) 7.12
Lookin' to get out 6.12
The Man Who Would Be king 7.12
The Hunger 7.12
I've especially wanted Lookin' to get out, a lost Hal Ashby movie restored. This is a fantastic price. I would have bought the newer version of Goodbye Mr. Chips with Peter O'toole which Ive never seen this low, but I got it at CH 6 months ago.
