I am going to be there for a few days in May and I was hoping to take the gf to see Love. I know that chances are that a popular show like this won't be coming up frequently at any of the "same day 1/2 off" places. But does anyone know of possible discounts that are out there?

Also, we will probably be looking to play in at least one low stakes (i.e. 40-70 dollar) tournament. What would you suggest as the best relaxed/fun places to play a poker tournament?

Thanks!

EDIT: please excuse the bad typos in the title...been a long day at work...

Last time I went to Vegas, there were these ticket stations inside some of the casinos where you could reserve tickets at discounted prices. At that time "Love" was not offered, but that was about 2 years ago, so you never know now. Regardless, even if you cannot get a discounted ticket, I would take your girlfriend to it. I think I ended up paying like 220 for two tickets. It was well worth it, very entertaining and beautifully performed.

when we were in vegas in Jan, we got Love tix from the half off booth, we got them the day before the show tho, not the day of the show. maybe thats better if youre there on a dark day. also get to the box office real early to trade in your voucher, the line was ridiculous.

If you stay at Mirage you might have a shot. In fact I think they had some deals a bit back that included tickets.

If you don't have your hotel set, call them. Ask them what kind of package you can get. You might get something decent, especially during the week.

BTW, Love was awesome. Very enjoyable and well done. It is light and uplifting. KA at MGM is just incredible from a production stand point.

Thanks everyone! We ended up using the 25% off coupon. We stayed at the Mirage, but because we booked through a website, we couldn't get any other discounts. We also ended up seeing Lance Burton with half-off same day tix...

Love was unbelievable...I...well, loved it. Truly a surreal and mesmerizing experience. As my girlfriend said, it's a bit like if Dali was dreaming about the Beatles and we were able to be spectators...
