The only episode i found kinda suspect was IRA v. Taliban. What next, Hitler versus Stalin, the Steel Cage Match?

Otherwise decent and entertaining show overall to watch, with plenty stuff blown up.

Pretty good show. That pump shot destroyed the gel head. I wish I could play with these toys

Re: Deadliest Warrior Season 2 - 4-20-10

at 8:30, before the season premiere, they took all the winners from S1 and ultimately pitted Samurai vs Spartan to see who the deadliest ancient warrior was, then spetsnaz vs the IRA to see who the deadliest modern warrior was. it was pretty cool.

So did the SS end up winning last week?

It looked like that last dude was about to fry the last VC with his flame thrower when my recording cut off.

I don't know why the VC chose that MAT49N instead of the AK47. And the pungee pit and spike ball rely too much on the enemy being in the right place at the right time.

My guess is that the show forced them to use sub-machine guns instead of rifles to make things a little more even. The AK would have dominated against the Gewehr 43 or STG-44.

Well, given that a flamethrower would dominate a punji pit...

Interesting match up last night and felt the outcome was right. I don't think they really considered the damage the coiled sword could inflict. Yes, the Roman guy said it was like a whip, but it's a whip with 2 sharpened edges.

The chakram was

I was surprised how much of an impact that thing had. It's amazing the dude didn't tear up his hand throwing it. The Rajputs had some badass weapons.

Maybe, but the primary weapon of the Waffen SS would have been the MG42 or a Panther.

Same here. It's cool to see the guys who are experts with the ancient weapons.

They do a surprisingly good job for what must be a low-budget cable show.

A mac 10 is not a long range weapon. It's a bullet hose.

Awesome, CIA won. I knew they would. The guy using the wire to decapitate the gel head was very impressive.

Neither is the Skorpion (unless you throw an ACOG on it like in COD4)

Re: Deadliest Warrior Season 2 - 4-20-10

Damn, Sun Tzu lost big time. It makes sense, as his weapons did not look nearly as deadly as Vlad's. The sword Vlad had to chop the pig in half with a single swing was awesome. Sun Tzu's repeating crossbow was very interesting. The clawed staff I had never seen before.
