Pretty good episode. Filled in some things on Raylan's past and gave some foreshadowing od future problems (Boyd's father when he gets out of prison)

Probably the slowest episode thus far, but everyone was still great so it didn't bother me at all. Well over half of this show is character and dialogue focused anyway.

Loved this exchange:
Arlo "Where were you woman?"
Helen "Out in the parking lot giving blow jobs for cash."
Arlo "Were you paying or were they?"
I also really liked the scene with Raylan playing baseball in the parking lot. Surprisingly this was the first episode a gun hasn't been fired, but there sure were a lot of baseball bats used.
Can't wait until next week

It's kind of funny, but when Walton Goggins was asking Raylan about his father in the pilot, I was thinking that Raymond J. Barry would be the perfect choice for the role.

Loved the baseball scene behind the bar. Raylan gets knocked down and then casually draws the strike zone on the wall

Again, disappointed in no Walton Goggins, but looks good for the near future. (Although the amount could prove to be disappointing; I'll be interested in seeing where they go with the new angle, though.)
I thought it was a pretty good episode, especially with how Raylen felt played and explained everything at the end. It was good to get more back story on Raylen and seeing how/why he became the man he did. Should be good next week (few weeks) with Boyd's dad out of jail and gunning for a few folks, it seems.

Not as good as last weeks, but better than the first 2. Oh and as a Band of Brothers fan it was GREAT to see Rick Gomez on there. I hope he comes out more.

Second best new series for 2009-10. I like The Good Wife Better, but this show is close to it.

I thought last week's episode was the weakest so far, though it was still good. Just not up to the level of the others. The third episode is my current favorite.
Chalk me up as another person who loved the baseball scene from this ep. Also liked the "At least your yard looks good." line.
