I myself am as giddy as the cat that got the cream right now.
While it's an incredibly crushing experience to get through, Antichrist is also a film I find myself thinking about constantly because of what it asks and shows you. After Inglourious Basterds, it was my favorite movie of last year.
Can't wait to see what the Criterion set comes with. *keping fingers crossed for the hour-long Charlotte Gainsbourg interview in French*

That is about a year from big screen to home. A pretty long time, I was getting a bit irked. I'll buy it on day one, I loved this film.

its prob because knowing that blockbuster and IFC have some sort of exclusive deal, and given the content, blockbuster prob didn't want anything to do with it

Can't say I'm surprised. This has been a title that was heavily rumored ever since the IFC deal with Criterion was announced.

if this is truly being released, i cannot wait.
this is surprising though, since that when IFC and Criterion announced their partnership or whatever, it was mentioned that we should not count on Antichrist being released with Criterion treatment.
