Fringe

Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Walter recalls his experiments in the 1980s as he tries to map out Peter's improbable biography for Olivia. Orla Brady guest stars as Peter's mother.


Fringe is finally back! 8 straight all new episodes til the end of the season. Really looking forward to this one.

Now that it has already been renewed for a 3rd season, I can just relax and enjoy these episodes. Yeah!!

I really shouldn't post in this thread as I'm still in season one, but I just want to chime in that I'm glad this show has been renewed for a third season. I will definitely be buying all of the Blu-ray sets.

Yep. And the whole thing before the credits was very cool. They did a pretty good job of making Walter young.

it wasn't an april fool's joke. it was done because the bulk of tonight's show was set in 1985 and it looked like it was from that time period.

And both the 1985 intro and the other 1985 segments were in 480p Fox SD widescreen for that retro feel.Only the alternate timeline (Eric Stoltz) and present day segments were in HD.

I loved this ep, the story was absolutely heartbreaking. The stuff with the window looking into the other dimension was great.

the observer clique coming out of the sideways BTTF movie with drinks made me laugh for some reason

that "window" device was awesome, wouldn't mind having one of those

sideways world had a Motorola RAZR in 1985

wonder why Peter is so important?

Now we know what happened to Nina's arm.

Did the writers just forget the "mass balance" bit? What got transferred between universes to balance Peter's mass?
