Had no problems with the iPad stuff. Phil's a well-established geek and it makes sense he'd want one. I'd rather they use a real product for that stuff anyway.

Gloria was cracking me up tonight. And Manny wanting an adult watch was hilarious too.

Phil all depressed was hilarious. I thought it was a nice touch having Luke be the one who came through in the end, even though he had to lie to do it.

Loved how Cameron just sprang into action when Mitchell woke him up.

Loved the tool belt exchange:

"Must have been one heck of a costume party. Was Cameron the Indian?"
"No Dad, we actually needed it to build something."
"What?"
"A gift-wrapping station."
"...And we're back."

This is my new favorite comedy show. It's pretty wonderful.

"A library is a place people go to look at books."
"A movie theater is a place where people go on dates"

Funny stuff!

Gloria saying she'll burn the house down if she loses was so hot.

This show is the funniest show on TV, right now. I still die the line Phil says in the third ep, "I was in a plane crash!"

I thought it was funny that Mitchell referred to it as a "belt of tools."

Great episode, first time watching it "live". The wife and I spent the last week watching the previous 18 episodes! :O And we loved every minute of it.

But not half as hot as when she made reference to her "Colombian piece."

I loved how Manny kept announcing every minute to Mitchell, lol. That watch was way too big for his wrist, it was practically falling off.

Gloria's cleavage is the best supporting cast member on television.

Funny thing is when I watched the first episode I thought the Phil character would be dragging this show down. He was trying to be cool/hip and relate to his kids, I was already getting tired of it in the first episode and knew that with every episode afterwards I'd want Phil dead.

Fortunately Phil's just a big doofus man/child - and he does it so well. He's definitely the funniest character.

I loved seeing Phil's sad smile throughout his birthday, like when he brought in a shovel for his birthday cake.

I didn't think the show was that great at the beginning, but it's really come into its own. Phil is an awesome character.

It's funny because I thought the same exact thing after watching the first episode. Phil always has the best lines. But I like that everyone has their comical moments...even Haley sometimes.
