Since Toys 'R' Us is having a Buy 1 get 1 Half Off on all DVD and Blu-ray movies, some people may have good luck price matching at Best Buy.

It appears to be. Judging by the ad, and Target history, I'd guess DVD only, but we'll know for sure tomorrow.
Someone else posted somewhere that it appears to be the same as the Target Final Destination 3D exclusive, which was just a comic and outer slip packaged over the regular release.

And to answer your question, yes it is ONLY for the DVD, NOT Blu-ray.
At Target.com's website it is listed available for pre-order here:

Thanks for the welcoming!!
And thanks for the information, it's kind of a bummer
it won't be available for Bluray. Strange too. I'm gonna wish for it to be there though.
Any chance of the comic being online or sold elsewheres?

I'm guessing the comic is just the 25 page comic that the writers came up with in the place of a spec script. I remember a few years ago, that the movie was being based on a new comic book, but that comic never came out. Maybe this is that comic?

Yeah, its the pitch comic that was presented to warner brothers. only 30 pages, so it wont be too big of a deal if i dont get it. i'm just jazzed up for the community screening!

Odd I counted 52 pages (not every page had artwork). The DVD also comes with an exclusive slipcover; different from DVD wraparound.
Sorry.
"Sherlock Homes".
