Community -- "The Science of Illusion" -- 03/25/10

Photobucket

Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Pierce commits himself to spiritual enlightenment and is willing to go to extremes for his Buddhist church. Elsewhere, Britta's prank, designed to dislodge her negative reputation, goes terribly wrong, forcing new campus-security workers Annie and Shirley to investigate.

Sounds interesting.

Re: Community -- "The Science of Illusion" -- 03/25/10

Abed killed me every time he fed people lines.

"Ohhh Colonial Burn!" - Troy

LOL @ Annie slamming Jeff's head into the table and Shirley pulling out a pizza cutter.

Them all crying at the end had me dying.

All of the miniature Spanish clothes falling out of Jeff's bag was hilarious. "Those aren't mine!"

EDIT: Haha, awesome Troy and Abed ending.

Annie running into the cloud of pepper spray she created was pretty funny.

Abed's impression of a police chief when he was going off on Annie and Shirley was awesome

Abed's lines and tirade were awesome, as was Troy's confession about Cookie Crisp.

My DVR always cuts the last few seconds of the endings of this show.

The way they dull down her hotness for her character makes it that much hotter when she lets her hair down.

Yeah, this was great; the "police chief" bit was awesome, especially how it touched all the bases ending with the "Don't go near this case" line.

This episode was hilarious! It took me longer to watch because because I kept rewinding and replaying parts.

Yvette Nicole Brown (Shirley) posted on Facebook that they were in hour 12 of the final day of taping for the season. She also posted this pic:

I had the exact same confusion as Troy--The cookie crisp guy was a burglar.

I have no idea if you're an 80s child like me, but I felt the same way. A burglar (even a cartoon one) probably isn't PC enough to market a product nowadays

LOL I haven't seen a cereal commercial in a long time, is Barney still scheming and thieving to get some of Fred's cereal? Is the Hamburglar still around, too?

Not too long ago I had walked the cereal aisle, and saw the wizard. I then proceeded to complain at work the next day, so that part had me rolling.

My wife is hit and miss about this show, but she absolutely loved this ep.

There were several parts that I had to rewind because I was laughing too hard.

Annie's slamming of Jeff's head into the table was fucking awesome, only to be topped by Troy's confusion about the Cookie Crisp.

The cookie crisp confession by troy was AMAZING, as the exact same thought was running through my head when they were talking about it. "Wasn't it a burglar? Cookie Crook or something?"

Now the mascot is like some wolf or something.

Did anyone else know that hot Annie is also Pete Campbell's wife on Mad Men? It was my big shock for the day while watching Mad Men.
