Vote for the Best COREY HAIM "Theatrical Film"
We've all had a lot to say about Corey Haim in threads both past and present. Allow this to be the definitive thread on his theatrical films, and, of course, determining the best of the lot. Undoubtedly, the fave will be Lucas, with License To Drive and Lost Boys fighting over 2nd place. But we’ll see..
(And before that naysayer shouts: "another Corey thread?" please allow me. Another Corey Thread? Was this completely necessary?)
I believe the 9 films in the poll are the only theatrical films. The rest were direct-to-video.

Even though he wasn't the main star, I really enjoyed Dream a Little Dream. I always thought it was the best of the Corey films.

I myself have a soft-spot for Firstborn, as the brothers remind me of my cousins, and I always somehow caught this movie on television at an impressionable age.
However, I had to vote for License To Drive because that, too, came at me at an impressionable age, and more often than not, I'd follow Les' examples.

The ending, however improbable, is one of the great throat-catching moments in film. But apart from that, it's just a very good movie. I've seen Lost Boys but don't remember a thing about it, and License to Drive is just escapist fun, but not especially good or memorable. I remember Firstborn being fairly good, too. Same goes for Silver Bullet.

The best one's not even on that list: CRANK HIGH VOLTAGE.

Not theatrical. Apparently not worthy for public theater-going consumption. Thereby not even worthy to discuss here.
I never understood it. Blockbuster after blockbuster.....Haim and Feldman proved they could carry a movie - both together or apart, yet were never given the chance once the 80s turned into the 90s. Direct-To-Video became their mantra.

I think the pairing of the two was their downfall. Had they never met, or never worked together, maybe things would have been different. Maybe. Maybe not.

Your signature says you're in New York, but you can't be very observant since CRANK HIGH VOLTAGE certainly played in theaters in New York. I saw it in a theater in Manhattan.

I voted Lucas. Silver Bullet a close second with Lost Boys in third. He was just a bit too annoying in Lost Boys for me as it was more about the Frog Brothers than it was him. Heck, I'll take Nanook over him from Lost Boys. Can I really take him seriously with a Rob Lowe poster hanging in his room?

Lucas was the best of those that I have seen. Plus, it featured an adorable, young and geeky Winona Ryder.
