i got the game a few months ago and beat the SP campaign a couple of times. I hadn't given the MP a go until yesterday. It is pretty damn fun. Does anyone here play it? There still seems to be a decent size community of players. I have not had any issues finding full matches. There is a map pack on the marketplace for 400pts, I am contemplating downloading that.

I like it a lot. I usually have trouble finding matches for Classic weapon pickup mode. Most of the time I end up playing Territory Control since there are always people playing that. I've only been dropped once due to not having the map pack.

i decided to get the map pack. i was worried no one would have it but lots of people do. this mp is gonna take the back burner for a little while -- perfect dark will haunt me for the next few days.

I played it for a long time a while back. I even managed to get enough points to unlock everything (weapons, golden weapons, etc). I think it is a lot more casual and friendly than many games (or at least it used to be) because all the really good players and the really immature players play MW2, BC2, Halo 3, etc instead. It was definitely a lot of fun.

I played it a lot before MW2 came out, but have been thinking about snagging the map pack and going back to it. Good to hear other people appreciate a fairly underrated game.

I still haven't opened my QoS game but I've heard MP on it is pretty good.

I think the SP is pretty good too. It is very short, but it is fun. Most of the campaign is from Casino Royale -- not Quantum of Solace which is kind of weird.

Ditto! Unopened as well. Picked it up for $9.99 during that Best Buy sale late last year. Got a free t-shirt with it too!

I still think this is the most underrated FPS of all-time. I loved the addition of the cover system to COD like FPS'er.

My main complaints are the shotgun has unlimited range so that is what pretty much everyone uses online and the online isn't laggy...but just doesn't run as smooth as the COD's...players have a tendency to skate.

Yeah the shotgun range issues are the biggest detractor, but by no means a gamebreaker.

But I also happened to buy the game about 7 months after it came out, and a couple of months after that I bought a PC FPS that was twice the game Goldeneye was in every way possible....and that was Half-Life....

Anyone up for trying to agree on a set time to sign on and play some QoS? I got rid of MW2 today and put this back in and find it to be far more fun, despite the obvious flaws.
