PS3 save game help needed (re:Fallout 3)

I have been playing Fallout 3 on my ps3. And I have been able to save no problem. Well I loaded up today and my gameplay for the last day is gone. When I saved my games it never game me an out of memory comment. I don't play many games. The only 2 with saved gameplay is Batman:Arkham (which I finished) and Fallout 3. Is their anyway of checking in memory space is the problem or is it something else. I am playing Fallout 3:GOTY edition on a 80gb ps3. And can I delete older versions of FO3 that I don't need? I have tried overwriting and it doesn't seem to work.

Thanks!

I want to help, but I don't think I understand. FO3 autosaves every time you fast travel, so you should always have some sort of save. It's certainly a game you need to save often. I kept a cycle of 5-6 saves at all times, always writing over the oldest one.

There's no way it's a space issue as FO3 saves are, if I recall correctly, about 20 MB. If you don't play many games, you should have physical space for thousands of saves.

Thanks. I figured it out. For some reason one of my save games didn't. But, it's working fine now.
