Looks kinda like she wandered onto the set of Fringe, with the giant numbers sitting there.

Over/Under on number of posts bitching about something that they were loving a month ago?

I'm new to the 24 party but this show still beats 95% of the other shows airing on network TV at the moment. It sure as hell beats the FOX Tuesday/Wednesday schedule.

This show reminds me of a primetime soap opera -- especially the Jenny storyline.

However, the show hasn't sunk as far down as Nip Tuck has yet, so I'll keep watching.

I find this season ok and slightly watchable, but not the best thing I have ever seen.

CTU is still great at screwing things up

*next week looks "fun" ..... the whole hour either devoted to a guy trying to blow himself up

Come on, Jack. Should have taken his knees out before he jumped out the window.

What the hell has this show become? The focus is barely on Jack anymore. I fell asleep tonight. I cant believe how boring and stale the show is now. I hope this is the last season. Its just flat out not good anymore.

I liked the previous two episodes since it seemed to pick up, but this episode was atrocious.

They really need to move this thing along. End the show, do a movie, kill Jack, and call it a day.

So predictable this show. I, like pretty much everyone here doubtless, called exactly how the hospital scene was going to end, right down to Jack's reaction to it.

I am still sticking around though.

I pretty much have to. I was there from day 1. The threats of early cancellation. To then its rise in popularity.

But now its just limping around only you don't have the balls to just pull the trigger on it. You just keep hoping there is a cure out there somewhere.

Unfortunately, much to my chagrin just like genital herpes there isn't a cure for redundant plotlines.

I thought it was pretty funny that CTU is running a huge operation and they don't even try to find Cole or Starbuck anymore.

Re: Twenty Four (24) -- "1:00am to 2:00am" -- 03/01/10

Loved this episode. It's simple. JACK + THREAT = awesome 24.

Hassan's daughter storyline kinda dragging the season a bit, but forgivable since most of the episode was about Jack. Great mini-story with Owen. Glad he didn't die. He has a great opportunity to learn from Jack.

"jenny from the block" still has screen time? Seriously?

Also loved the conversation between Renee and Jack. Wish she had more screen time.

Isn't Jack supposed to be in his 60's? He's old enough to be Renee's dad.

Re: Twenty Four (24) -- "1:00am to 2:00am" -- 03/01/10

I so disagree with the negative posts. This was a really good episode. I thought it was briskly paced and the story just kept moving. Sean Callery's score also helped keep the scenes moving. Even though I was a fan of Jon Cassar as the A director of this show, I honestly haven't really noticed a difference with him gone. Brad Turner did a great job with this episode.

I thought it was hilarious how terrified that CTU agent Owen was with Marcos. I'm assuming that he's probably a rookie with pretty much zero field experience. If Cole wasn't out covering up Dana's mess, he would have been much better handling Marcos.

Chloe was back!! It was great to see her get out of the shadow of Dana and Arlo and work her magic disarming the bomb remotely.

I do agree with Mr. X, Cole and Dana have been MIA for over 1 hour and noone has seemed to notice?

The conversation with Renee and Jack was nice. However, I don't see how they get her out into the field now.

It was also good to see Hastings have some balls and stand up to Rob.

I mean yeah Hassan's daughter storyline kinda sucked, but Jack was once again the focus of the episode and I was really entertained.

The one really stupid line in this episode was when President Taylor received word about the Nuclear rods being out threatening an attack on NYC and she said "Why would they do that?" Now that stupid writing by Manny Coto and Brannon Braga.

Jack was born in 1966 (He mentioned it in the Season 6 DVD debriefs)

Season 1 takes place in an election year (2000) even though it aired in 2001

In Season 6, it was mentioned that 9 years had passed since Teri died (2009)

I think Season 8 takes place in roughly 2013 or 2014 since roughly 4 years have passed since season 6. Jack would be roughly 47 or 48.

Really? You called a lawyer at 1:30 in the morning and they agreed to see you at 3:30 in the morning. Okey-dokey.

My biggest headscratch of the night came in the previews

Spoiler:
Jimmy James, Macho Business Donkey Wrestler, with some connection to the hicks? Well, that should be... interesting. Hopefully he doesn't put on a sneer, because I don't think I could take it.

When Marcos started running towards the window, I was really hoping it was plexiglass or something that wouldn't break. Alas.

Not completely absurd if it was someone he knows well enough. Particularly with NYC hours for some lawyers.
