A Team Darlton and Jack Bender episode. Sounds like we're in for a good ride.
Hey after a few beers 2 and 3 can look alike you know?

Yeah unfortunate typo. Always exciting when the A-team's scheduling syncs up, which is only really once or twice a season besides the premieres/finales.

If your insanely sensitive to spoilers, I would not visit TVGuide.com right now. One of there headlines involves 2 characters returning to the show.

Sorry to start with speculations about the season finale, but no one will read it in the previous thread.
From interviews, the producers have always said that they have always known the last 3-5 scenes of the show. Almost since the beginning. So somehow I doubt that Jacob and MiB will be involved in the series finale. That's because everybody is commenting about the substitutes and that will be the series finale last scene.
Maybe we will learn something new in today's episode. And no, I haven't read any spoiler about today's show, or any future episode. I have kept my promise of being spoiler free this season.

Re: Lost -- "Lighthouse" -- 02.23.10
Rampant speculation time! I am sure that this idea may have been mentioned before, but here we go....
What if Jacob and Mib are not from the past but from the future? Maybe they came from the future and were placed/stranded/jailed/etc. on the island roughly 5,000 years ago. For so long, that it in fact appears that they are old as civilization, but in fact they are from a future with far advanced technology...
Which may mean that at some point in the future the island and it's properties are studied and understood (i.e. electromagnetism, time-space, and other such concepts are much better understood and even able to be harnessed). Suppose that these future humans realize the destructive potential of this island. They realize that if not properly taken care of and protected that the island could cause not just the destruction of humanity, but the actual removal of any existence of humans, past, present, or future, from time. If this were true, the island would certainly need a high degree of protecting as it could literally erase everything ever connected with humans....
So...somehow, Jacob and Mib are selected/forced to protect the island...this is where my speculation breaks down. Why were they selected, why can't they leave, etc?
But, theoretically speaking, this version of events could explain everything in a pseudo-scientific manner. Jacob and Mibs "powers" could be explained by harnessing electromagnetism to mutate them or some such thing. In fact everything could be explained away by the excuse that "in the future" we have the technology to make such and such possible...
Anyways, just my two thoughts about a theory I found interesting...Now, commence the dismantling!
p.s. I can already spot one flaw...why would Flocke claim that "Of Mice and Men" was written past his time if he is form the future...hmmm....

I know it's a little early to speculate, but does anyone think ABC will air the finale on the big screen? Like a one night only kind of deal. I would definitely go if they did that.

Some cities do that already. Here in Houston the Alamo drafthouse always show new episodes on the big screen.

Hmmm...you think maybe the reason why Flocke can't change forms now is because once you inhabit the form of a "candidate" after that they are the one "chosen" and that's the new form? Maybe candidates are only the new bodies MiB or Jacob can inhabit.
