Re: A Coppola Classic Returns in 70mm!

What elements could not be recreated? Was there smoke or bubbles or something "4D" in the original presentation?

I remember being so afraid of the final sequence when I was a kid watching it at EPCOT.

Good thing we were planning to visit Disneyland Resort sometime this summer! I remember Michael's acting was MINT /sarcasm lol.

The loser in all of this is Honey I Shrunk the Audience, which needed to be replaced anyways IMHO.

Man, this is certainly going to turn the tide of my poll in his favor!

Anything beats The Godfather Part IIID or The Rainmaker: The IMAX Experience.

I can't wait. I loved Captain EO as a kid. A fun and cool little movie.

I want Scorsese's "Bad" in 3D. "BaDDD"?

Re: A Coppola Classic Returns in 70mm!

Anyone know which effects aren't able to be replicated? I assume they mean real smoke and light effects in the theater, not anything in the movie, itself.

Any word on how long this will be running? Or what they might have in store to replace it when it's done?

I also assume they mean smoke and laser physical effects. But IIRC, the Honey I Shrunk the Audience attraction had water misters, so they might use that instead of smoke for things like the exploding asteroid at the beginning.
