Saw a pair 3 weeks ago @ IKEA for 10 bucks, quite heavy and also height adjustable too!

The telescoping pair that retails for 50 is on sale this week. I just got a pair yesterday. 30 bucks plus tax. Not bad for
the money and they are built pretty good.
Just need a better center and my system
will be complete! (for now, )

Depending on how high you want them to be, Best Buy (B&M and online store) have speaker stands between $45 and $100. The shorter ones are cheapest, and they get more expensive the taller you go.

I bet you could make some really cheap if you stop by the nearest Home Depot or Lowes and just pick up some materials, that is if you are handy enough to do that sort of thing. I made a DVD rack for about $30 that holds about 400 DVD's.

Check out www.partsexpress.com. They have the best prices I've seen. I ordered four stands (two sets) of what looks like the Furnitureworks brand for $90 shipped.
