Why did Amazon briefly stop selling 500 Days of Summer?

Why is 500 Days of Summer on blu-ray getting discontinued? I have it and I haven't noticed any problems with it.

Odd.

Source? Maybe Fox is releasing a new edition sans digital copy disc?

Amazon isn't selling it right now, but they do this inexplicable sort of thing really frequently anymore.

Other retailers still have it handy.

Nevermind. I am a complete idiot. I saw that Amazon was no longer selling it and then did a Google search and thought I saw Walmart stating it was discontinued.

I was bored.

This thread should be closed and renamed to avoid confusion. It almost made my wife cry.

re: Why did Amazon briefly stop selling 500 Days of Summer?

I pre-ordered the BD and the day it came, I tried the disc. But it was unable to pay.

After contacting the customer service, Amazon sent me a replacement. Tried the disc, but the movie stuck after 10 minutes playing.

Perhaps this could be the reason - defective manufacturing or such?

Fortunately for me, region is not an issue so I got mine from UK. It plays perfectly.

Maybe they had to send back copies that didn't have the parentheses in the title.
