Every girl there, from rich Blair to poor Jo (also from NYC - The Bronx, to be precise, which is closer than downtown Manhattan), boarded there. What, only Kimberly Drummond commuted every day to Peekskill?

Mr. Drummond obviously hated black people because he sent Arnold and Willis to public school to get pounded by the Gooch. WTF?

Didn't she leave after the first semester to be a model in France, and then she came back with bulemia.

It must've have been weird for Kimberly to see a women who used to be her maid, all of a sudden basically running her school. Talk about confusing authority figures.

Diff'rent Strokes was where I first heard about child molesters as a kid (that episode where the old guy got Dudley drunk). Freaked me out.
That said, why do they spell it "diff'rent"? Is that actually a contraction? I mean, how does the pronunciation of "diff'rent" vary from the pronunciation of "different". Was that an attempt at ebonics?

In later seasons, it was The Fats of Life.
What I never understood is how Florida Evans worked as a maid for Maude Finlay in Long Island, when she lived in the Chicago projects. Talk about a commute!
