I like the last sale where they gave you 2 free movies with every order, so splitting up an order worked out great until you got stuff you ordered in the past. I now have a second copy of Laserblast but it's a decent enough gift.

I'll finally have to pick up the Trancers box set for sure. Maybe I'll get Full Moon Classics Vol. 1 and 2, Charles Band DVD Collection Vol. 1 and Dollman/Demonic Toys Box sets. Any recommendations between those?

That was a fun sale but it kind of backfired on me. I ended up with about 3 extra copies of shrieker and a couple other dupes.

If you are considering that many of their releases I would say go for the Full Moon Archive Box Set. It includes most of the really good movies in those collections and If its also half off in this sale it's by far the best bargain for people who already don't own a bunch of their boxsets.

On top of the archive box set I would also suggest Full Moon Classics - Volume 1 for some of the movies like Netherworld that are missing from the archive collection.

I got a bit confused when they sent the ad out so early, I thought it was Valentines day for a few hours.

I guess I am going to take the plunge on the Puppet Master set, Trancers 6 (to complete my collection) & Femalien (It's the only one from the Surrender set I really want).

Just beware that generally the replicas take FOREVER. You pay them and then it's often months before you see anything. People are still waiting on the original orders for Six Shooter. DVDs on the other hand arrive quick.

I got that email as well. Wanna buy a bridge? All kidding aside: While I don't doubt the man got ill, they never bothered to say anything until well after the fact, and after they got a lot of complaints and questions where replicas were. (1 guy is making them?!) There are more issues than that at Full Moon. The whole 'battle damaged replicas got stuck in customs' was most likely bs, especially since at the Pittsburgh Road Show prior they were selling the Blade replicas out of the back of the van at discount. They fired Brian who I think was their head order/shipping guy, and I know the new folks have been very helpful and pleasant with people complaining about the delays. Hopefully they are getting better.
I'm not trying to steer people away, I get a kick out of Full Moon stuff, and own a lot of it, but just want folks to be aware on the replicas.

I'm sure dvds will be shipped out quickly, and the prices are good for the quality, especially with free shipping. I plan on buying a few remaining items I don't have. But when you charge someone $200 for a replica and then wait up to and sometimes over 6 months that's just awful business and customer service. Maybe have folks order them and then charge them when they ship?
Sorry for the long post, it's not meant as an attack on FM or anyone, just a heads up. (Since the replicas aren't part of the sale we should be good!)

I've read reports that the first pressing of the Subspecies set was plagued with glitches. I think this mainly affected the version that came with all 5 discs in one case - which is the version still pictured on their website.

Has anyone who ordered this set from Full Moon Direct had a problem? I know there is a new version with each disc in it's own case with an outer slipcover, which seems to have all the previous problems corrected. Hopefully that's the version they are currently shipping to customers.
